2026 Charity Tops #201-210

I have boxss of these cut out tops sitting in front of my old kids’ bedrooms. I have to have these boxes emptied by the middle of August, so I had best get these going.

And checking out what I’ve been doing, I had a moment of realiziation that I need to start pinning the borders on by measuring the middle of the top and making the borders fit - easing in fullness. These are somewhat crazy in their wonkiness and I know that I am at least partly at fault. I’ve got to cure the issues so from now on, I will be measuring through the middle of the tops and pinning on the borders. I want to see a market improvement. Yes, I’ve just been sewing on the borders - and that has been compounding the problem if the middles of the tops start out a bit on the wonky side.

But here are these ten. Some are the strips tops and some are from Fran in AZ.

Here is the little pile of 10 tops.

I need to get these to the church building upstairs. I do have room, now in my long arm room, so I can soon start moving things down there. I still have a few more charity quilts for this year, so I’m not quite ready to start moving things in there. I want to feel finished with my own goal for the year before starting to pile up more tops down there. It’s the game I play with myself.

But this is my chance to share more charity quilt recipients with you from years past.

Just a few. These are either recipients or social workers who took them to shut ins or those who can’t get to our building.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
