"Santa's Hats" finished
I really did try to get this one up before the winter was over, but I didn’t manage to succeed at that. Oh well. You will notice that I did snag the photos while we still had snow on the ground! It was brry and I didn’t really want to, but I because the theme of this quilt is Santa Hats - I wanted it with some snow behind the quilt!
It is still done and ready for next December.
You can see taht this is not a huge quilt - but it will work as a bonus quilt on a bed if it is cold or maybe on a couch during the season!
I don’t make many Christmas quilts - but here is one - sort of, anyway.
This is taken from the book by Lori Holt called Scrappiness is Happiness. I have made several out of that book so far!
This amazing design is so vey simple, but the end product is really fun!
Check out the pictures here.
I did not use a lot of Lori Holt fabrics in this design, but I did use some. I did use pretty much all of the red and white snowflakes or wintery fabrics I had in my stash.
Here are a few close ups of the hats.
I used a solid aqua type blue as the background. I did make some simple snowflakes and loops as the design. I was fine with it!
I think you know that this is part of my Lori Holt series. It now looks like this!
