August Strips Cutting Report
I can’t say this month was a record or anything. Oh yes, I was in the states for 15 days! No wonder!
Then I had jet lag, etc.
It is kind of a wonder I have anything at all for this report.
But I do.
A little bit.
So here goes.
2.5” - 0.88 lb.
2” - 0.11 lb. :)
1.5” - 0.44 lb.
This makes my totals for the year to be found here.
This is the table that shows the totals from the whole time I’ve been keeping track.
So, I am actually hoping to make some negative progress in the amount of strips I have lying around. I’d like to think I’m using them up faster than I am producing them right now. :)
Just to remind you - I’ve made just a few from my 1.5” strips - but here they are.
More often than not, I just use some of the strips in with other pieces as I work on my quilts. IOW, I don’t do a lot of quilts with only 1.5” strips/squares or even as the main theme. I am working on that Granny Square one, though from 1.5” squares. In fact, I’ll include it in the gallery below. I did sometimes feature quilts featuring primarily 1.5” strips in with my Upcycled Blues or Greens series, however. Those are not included here.
These last few pictures are just to remind you that you can use these strips! Lots of ideas here!
Thanks so much for coming alon gwith me on this journey!
Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
