2026 Charity quilts #111-120
It’s time to finally share these!
I had a delay on getting these last 10 finished. I had so hoped to have them done by the end of June so I could sit back and do what I want to do the rest of the year - or add to the charity quilts, but all the rest will be bonus. :) Let me clarify, of course I “want to” make these quilts as it is my choice, but I meant, I made a goal, and until that goal is met, it is kind of hanging over my head. It is a goal that I’ve really wanted to meet each year - not just a “pie in the sky wish” type of goal.
Anyway, here they are.
To be honest, later in the year I am hoping to do another small group just for our local Jozefow town. They always need some around Christmas time. But I want a little break from thinking about them. PLUS, my own quilt tops are piling up once again so I want to get those back under control.
I had someone else local tell me she could help me with tops if I need it. I do have some more smaller tops I need borders added to, so I will gladly take the help! Natasha, a lady I made contact with last year in our give-away has been finishing up tops for me (I give her everything needed included a small top that needs borders added and I give her the borders cut) at a clip of 2 per week. That is so helpful and is making a difference!
Here is the last group picture of the quilts heading to the church building. It’s warm these days so carrying around a load of quilts is a hot job. :)
I am using my husband’s truck here, as our van is waiting for repair.
Thanks again so much for coming along with me on this journey.
I hope to have our quilt give away some time in November. It is helpful if I do it early enough in the fall that it doesn’t actually interfere with Christmas activities!
Here’s a picture from last year’s quilt give away in preparation - just before opening the doors.
Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
