Another Box from Fran arrived!


Yes, I did get one more box from Fran - so let’s talk about it.

I did want to get it photographed and am deciding which tops will be stored at the church and whicn ones I am going to go ahead and make up for 2025 charity quilts. I will need to add to most of these to make the size I need (about 60x80” for a single) or much bigger -for a double.

Here it is.

I will be digging into the tops that Fran has given me and finish up quite a few more of these smaller ones - so that I can have more variety in next year’s charity quilts.

Inside this box were 17 tops of various sizes

There were also these two small things with attached minky. I will probably finish these two as baby quilts since we do have some babies now in our sphere. Previously I had baby quilts, but I made them bigger, since we didn’t really need them for babies - as we needed them for children!!!

All together this box had all these goodies in it!

Fran had to pay quite a bit to get these quilt tops here, but the colors of these are so bright and pretty! I really do appreciate so much!

So, thank you, Fran.

I’ve been able to give away several of your former tops in the last week or so - and I do think of your work as I give them away!

And thanks to each of you who have helped - whether simple encouragement or sending us/us tops to finish which provides much needed variety in the quilts when we have a give away.
