"Sheet of Stamps" finished - 2.5" strips and squares

I finally finished this remake of my Sheet of Stamps made with 2.5” strips.

Here’s the one I made with 2” strips -

This is the same design but with 2.5” strips and squares.

Let me show these side by side. You can see how much difference there is in the detail of the quilt.

I do like them BOTH, BTW. The one on the right is a bigger quilt, but it gives you a good chance to compare what happens when you use 2.5” (left) or 2” strips (right).

I couldn’t go one square bigger on today’s quilt simply because it would have been enormous! Too big. It would have been 124”x124”. Crazy big.

Here’s a close up of the design.

Naturally this isn’t actually a block. It’s just how it looks once the two blocks are put together. It’s what we are looking at and I really like that.

A couple more pictures from different angles -

This beautiful quilt makes a statement!

It would take me a long time to get tired of looking at it.

I think it would be beautiful in browns/tans and otherwise Civil War colors like burgundies, navy, golds, etc.

Here’s the quilt roll -

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this quilt. As this one is part of the 2.5” series, I want to show you the updated series now that I’ve finished this one.

Thank you so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
