November 2025 Strips cutting report

Well, I did not cut much in November. I seriously did not want to spend a lot of time cutting up strips when I just don’t have a tremendous amount of scraps at the moment. Plus, it felt like I kept getting interrupted and having to clean my work area back up (which means put everything away and hide it all)!

But as I did a few other things, I did manage to cut a few strips along the way. Seriously - just a few.

This is what my huge month of November strip processing looked like!

So here is my little bit. This time I just used my kitchen scale to weigh these instead of our luggage scale!

2.5” - 0.10 lb.

2” - 0.16 lb.

1.5” - 0.42 lb.

I really didn’t worry about trimming up a lot of scraps. It tends to make a bit of a mess when I do it and I had to host Thanksgiving at our house and a couple of other times we had groups over for dinner, so for my stress level, I just let most of the trimming ride. I will try to get completely caught back up in December, however. It’s not that many. However, I am going through my sewing room and am finding some more things to be dealt with.

My totals for 2025 are here -

And here are the totals since I started keeping track:

And just a reminder to show you a few things you can make from such scraps - check out these - from 2.5” strips.

All of these are free patterns on this page. Feel free to make one or two!

Thanks for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
