Our snow!

This year we’ve had more snow here in Poland this the last few years combined!

While we were gone, this happened to our tent where we keep our vehicles.

I took some pictures of our snow when I first came back. We are expecting more towards the end of the week!

It will be imperative that we get the snow from off that tent before that happens. My husband did get the vehicles out and the broken aluminum bars are being propped up by various boards and pieces of wood.

It’s been cold here (about 10 F) - and since we’ve not really had much of a winter the last few years, it really was a surprise to us to hear about it while we were in the states. Our Christmas was not particularly cold, so this has happened starting right at the end of the year, 2025.

For Poland, which is normally actually pretty mild, hovering just above and then below freezing, this has been different for us for lately. We are still expecting cold through the end of the week, so I’m kind of using that as an excuse to stay home and get some sewing done!
