Recently Quilted Twins was able to acquire some vinyl. Rachael and I were so excited - as we know we have some bag makers among us and we know that some use vinyl.

Before we started, let me share with you a short video with some tips on how to sew with vinyl.

So what can we do with vinyl (or faux leather)? I found the way to find things and ideas for our vinyl is to use faux leather and not vinyl when you search for patterns, videos, etc.

Complete bags such as handbags

Bag bottoms - for protection from getting dirty as you can wipe it clean

Vinyl waterproof mats - when you need something for someone to sit on that might need some protection from moisture

Cushions for vehicles or things like golf carts

Vinyl wristlets or small coin change purses or cosmetic type bags

Small cosmetic type bags for when you want something different and maybe need it to be waterproof or at least water resistant.
