Grandma and Grandpa Time

We spent all last evening at our son and DIL’s house babysitting for them while they were able to go to a dinner for a group called the Gideons who put free Bibles out in various places.

I got to feed and then play games with my 9 year old granddaughters and clean up and change a diaper again for a baby. Then, try to get the older girls to settle down while the baby wasn’t having it. Laurence, almost 3 was too tired to do much other than ask for a nap.

Finally my husband got the baby(Eleanor) to fall asleep on him - as it seems like she has a tendency to do.

All that to say that I didn’t have my blog post done before I went to the store to help out for the day, and so here it is, time for bed, and it’s not done.

So, here’s a photo of my husband with his 1 year old granddaughter.

I know these days are precious. No one is promised tomorrow, so I will do my best to treasure each one.

I hope to pick up with more quilting related posts tomorrow. I should have had this one done early, but I didn’t.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey.
