My Garden Update

The garden is coming along nicely albeit slowly.

We had very hot weather for a bit and then we had cool weather (in the 60s). I have planted mostly things that love hot weather so my things grow faster in the hot weather.

Last week it rained every day so I didn’t even go look. I need to work on weeding, but honestly, I’ve been trying to focus on all that piecing. :) LOL

I need to get more organized with my time so I have more time to do the things I want to do! Oh my.

Where does the time go?

Anyway, here are some pictures from this July update.

Corn: Note - I have corn planted in three places. The first place I planted is such a mess I’m not show ing it. The other two are here….I will be pulling weeds from the one with all the little plants - hopefully the day you read this. The other section I weeded the day I wrote this blog post.

Zucchini: I see my first zucchini! I’m so excited. I find it interesting that my plants are so different in size. I will be fertilizing these again this week. I see the first two zucchini coming along and that is exciting!

Tomatoes: I was given a bunch of plants by a young lady from a farm in Ukraine who now lives nearby. I also have some cherry tomato plants I planted from seed. The short plants are the ones I started from seed.

Flowers and wild flowers growing in various places.

Pumpkins:

Beans:

I need to get out there and spend about an hour a day weeding until the garden is back under control. July is always a lot about weeding.

This week is warm again - last week we had rain and cooler weather. Hopefully I’ll see tomatoes really see some progress!

Does anyone else have a garden of any kind? Flowers?

What do you like to grow?

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!

Don’t forget that we have alot of plants fabrics - plants in all types and sizes.
