Several Quilts at one stage

I’ve got several quilts where I’ve made ALL the blocks but need to finish up the tops. I’ve never actually run out of steam at this point, but I’m at that stage with several of these projects.

I wonder why.

I don’t even know why. Usually when I get the blocks made, I’m ready to get the rest of the top finished up.

But I will show you what I’m talking about. These will be a sneak peek with several of the quilt tops I’ve been working on.

Here they are.

50 churn dash blocks - ready to put in a top

56 blocks. Ready to add a second block and make the top.

I do not know when I got to the place where I had a hard time putting blocks together to make a top. I think I’ve got a problem.

Maybe I’ve gotten to the place where I actually prefer just making the blocks!

But I really need to get these tops put together. I’ve had some of these blocks in my sewing room for a long time! I think all those misc. 2.5” squares blocks - they are all mixed up and lately I’ve been doing more controlled scrappy a bit more than those are. Maybe that is what is keeping me from it.

But I will finish these - why not?

It won’t take a terribly long time to finish any single one of them.

I just came to realize how many of these collection of blocks I have. I wanted to share with you!
