Update on Corey Yoder's Border quilt along

This month’s border was very simple. She released it on Saturday and I did the 3 little borders on Monday. It wasn’t difficult at all. At least I didn’t think that it was difficult. I thought it was quite a bit easier and faster than the last month’s.

Here is the link to her blog post which will then give you the pattern should want it.

I am enjoying seeing this quilt grow.

I was able to go to my bag of fabrics, pull out the partially finished top. I did have to go find my whites and black that I’m using, cut the strips and then go add them.

I pressed after each addition and took the photo.

Then I folded it back up and put it in the bag and it can wait until the third week of July. when she releases the next month’s border.

So, for now, this one goes on hold until next month. I do hope the quilt ends up being a decent size - and not tiny. But obviously I can always add more even if Corey finishes before I want to finish.

When I made the last one by Edyta Sitar, she mentioned that we can always use any single of those borders that we used in that one on other quilts. So, obviously I can do that if this one ends too soon. :)

But so far, I’m loving it!

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
