Another Update on the road
We are currently with our daughter near Clemson, SC. This is the daughter, Lydia, who finished her PhD in Biomedical Engineering last August.
As such, there hasn’t been a lot of time to do fun things to write about. We did work on a little project for the store (Lydia and I) but I won’t share that one yet.
I did get the last round on a few more of the granny squares so that I now have 12 all completely finished. Twelve, out of how many? I don’t know? Maybe 120? Maybe more? I haven’t figured it up yet, but I can now that I’ve finished some and can see how big they end up being.
My husband and daughter did 3D print a yarn winder for me yesterday and we’ve been using it to wind up my skeins of yarn so I don’t make a big mess out of the ends that don’t want to come out correctly.

That is kind of a cool thing.
But otherwise, I’ve been resting some. I had felt like I was coming down with something while in Michigan, but then as we were driving down south, I think it became apparent that the cold part was going away and allergies kicking in. The trees were starting to bloom in about Kentucky and we saw some beautiful ones in NC and then SC, where we are currently. There are some gorgeous purple ones as well as the white ones all along the freeway.
Lydia finished this beautiful Polish embroidery cross stitch. I brought the round frame for her hoping she could use it,
Anyway, this is just a short report. Tomorrow we will travel a lot and today looks to be reasonably full. If you get to the blog in the next couple of days and don’t see a report, never fear, I will do my best to make it up, as I am able.
I’m still here and actually do have things to write about but sometimes they take more energy than I might have at the time. I haven’t finished our Daytona report and I have some things from the store in FL to tell about as well.
But thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey.
Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store here!
