Back in Florida!

We made it!

With the storms in the Eastern part of the USA today, the flights to Florida from MSP (Minneapolis) were all delayed. So, our trip took the day but we arrived back in Dade City shortly after 8 pm.

We are so thankful for safe flights and safety as we drove around Wisconsin some.

Now, I’m ready to get back to work for the next few weeks. I feel like in a lot of ways, I’ve been taking it easy. :) It’s been work, but in a different way.

It did snow in Wisconsin overnight last night and in Minneapolis there as quite a bit of snow in various places.\

Here in Florida, it is hot. :) We saw a lot of sheet lightning in the area as we drove in, so that’s a pretty typical thing to see in Florida!

I’ve got quite a bit to share with you but not tonight. I have a finished quilt and I want to get a couple of tops going - remember all those blocks I made on that trip in Indiana? Those blocks are ready to be put together and they will be so fun to do!

So, hopefully, good things are coming here.
