March 2025 Strips cutting report
This is probably the only strips cutting report I’ll have while in the states.
And it’s not strips.
I cut my scraps into 2.5” squares and also 1.5”x2.5” strips. I will call the 2.5” squares part of my 2.5” strips and my 1.5”x2.5” pieces part of my 1.5” strips which will be eventually caught up while back in Poland. At least that is the plan.
I had been collecting a lot of leftover this and thats in the couple of months we had been in Florida and I was sewing.
I decided to take a bag of those pieces with me on our journey and I completely sorted and cut them up while staying in Indiana.
So, I’m happy that I was able to use them this way . Now that they are already cut into 2.5” squares I know they they are much easier for me to use up. I’ve not decided yet, exactly how, as there are quite a few, but I believe they will be easy to use.
Here are the pictures and the amounts.
2.5” squares - 1 lb.
1.5” x 2.5” strips = 1.5 lbs.
I don’t have a proper form yet as that is on my computer in Poland, so this will have to be enough for that. I don’t have a scale that is as detailed as my one in Poland, so I just used a luggage scale. It is close enough.
This is all I’ve cut up towards this project in 2025. I don’t think I’ll have a report at the end of April, but maybe I will. We’ll see.
I really do like being caught up and hope I can sew a lot in April.
I trust today’s been a good day and that no one fooled you in a negative way!
Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey.
Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
