2026 Charity quilts #21-30

We had a wonderful couple of days for drying quilts outside - breezy and quite warm for March! I try to wash these quilts when I have cheaper electricity which is pretty much all weekend and nights plus 2 hours in the afternoon - every day.

So I really worked hard on binding so I could get the first thirty taken to the church building. Once I got started, I really wanted to just keep going!

I really appreciate all the quilts that were donated in this group! Half of these were donated by you all! I love it because it brings variety to our give-away and provides some really pretty quilts! The farm, Mickey and strips ones were not donated but the strips were made by Ewa and her mom from here in Poland. I did end up adding borders to several of these that were donated, but you know…in the end, it’s all great and I appreciate every bit of help.

It does take me over a half an hour just to get the outdoor pictures of the 10 quilts. Possibly more than that if I am having to run back and forth - so just depends. It’s a minimum of 30 minutes unless I already have all the quilts outside - and mostly I’ve not done that. The weather, while nice, is not THAT nice..yet! :) And I’d love to be able to put all my quilts in the room without some major maneuvering.

This is 30 quilts ready to head to the church building and the storage room.

Here is the wonderful photo of how they all look in the room! To me this does not look very much like 30 quilts, but it is! And that is good news to me as I need to be able to put all 120 in that room!
