2026 Charity quilt TOPS 141-150

As I look at the totals for this year so far, I’m actually very very pleased even though I’m really “feelin’ it”.

The numbers are actually starting to look like big numbers and even more important, I’m starting to feel like there is a “bonus” of tops now, so that I will have plenty to work on when I get there.

And that feels good.

While I do like making tops, the charity tops I am trying to finish up are in a bit of a different boat than the tops I make strictly for fun and/or learning new skills.

I will add that often the quilts I make “for fun” end up as a gift, but I don’t really call them charity quiltS. For example not long ago my husband went to the country of Georgia. I sent a quilt with him for a couple who is there. I hope they enjoy it. It was a larger blue/tan one that was an older top but finished not too long ago.

I didn’t know these people so I was trying to go conservative on colors since I have absolutely NO IDEA if they like bright or browns. I have plenty of brighter ones as well, but really just didn’t know, so I chose this one to send.

Here are the next ten tops heading to the church building for storage until I’m ready to start quilting on another group

And just to remind us all of why we do this, here are some more older pictures of quilt give-aways. I’m so grateful we’ve been able to do this for all these years! These are from 2014 or before.

Below is Tuq, our cat, checking out what in the world I put in that bag. He really wanted to sit on them. At this point, I really don’t stop him because after I finish the quilts I do wash them and then do not allow them to sit on the quilts. He seems to be able to find the most recently washed quilt and want to sit on it!

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
