Mask Mosaic top Finished!

This quilt top is finished.

At this point is about 49”x 62”.

In order to finish off the top I need to close out or reach a good spot in the design to finish.

So I stopped here.

I could have done more, but I did not have enough panel to make the finish with yet another X row, so I decided to stop where I did. It’s a good size.

We’ve chosen to back it with one of our brush strokes backing pieces, and bind it with a bright red.

I am leaving it in FL, so naturally I won’t see it in person for now.

The beauty of this quilt is that it isn’t too big so it would be a great chance for you to try this design with a scrappy look, without needing a bunch of scraps. How you change the panel into something interesting—that’s the part that is so cool about this one.

Just in case you’ve forgotten…this is what it started out being.

Thanks so much for coming along with us on this journey.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
