We're Flying Today

We are leaving the USA today if all goes as planned. Please pray for our safety.

I know that many of you ask how I feel about it. I always have mixed emotions about going back. (Or coming over to the USA). It is all so complicated and involved. Packing, getting things ready and all the prep makes it impossible to dwell on the emotions too much as there is always so much to do.

This time, all the more since we were in town for a bit longer than usual.

It’s been a good visit. I’ll admit to being ready to sew again as I’ve been able to do so very little of that, but I do feel like I was able to help Rachael with some of the physical work that she has needed. Obviously there is always more, but…at least I was able to help some.

But truly, many of the emotions won’t come until I get back into Europe and begin to feel the difference. Jet lag is always difficult as well and as we get older, it’s harder than ever!


Thanks so much for your patience with me with the blog - I’ve been much more hit and miss with it durign this extended time in the states.

Hopefully I can get back to better consistency!
