"Sweatshirt Jacket" - ready to go!
In the store, we’ve had some sweatshirt jackets available for people to look at and examine. Often they’ve had questions. Janelle Miller, who works at the store and is an excellent seamstress has made all of them.
So many people have come in to the store and asked “How do you make this?”
The question has been asked so many times that it is really gotten humorous.
So we decided to write a pattern. Janelle has made so many—all kinds and sizes - that she wrote out the basic “how to” instructions. I then made up a jacket using our coral blocks panel from the All Florida Shop Hop line of fabrics because I thought those blocks are just gorgeous.
I took a lot of photos along the way amd then using Janelle’s overall plan, I added photos and tried to address any questions I faced when I made mine.
The kit is here. for only $48. You will need your own sweatshirt. The pattern will include 2 panels, enough beautiful turquoise fabric to make any size, and a pattern.
And so wee are able to offer this pattern and a kit.
The basic principle is the same for all the sweatshirt jackets, however.
If you are interested in only the pattern, it will be available as well.
If you want to order this pattern, you can do so here - the physical, paper copy - $12. It will be mailed to you or you can pick it up in the store.
If you prefer a download, it is here. Only $8.
So there you - even if you don’t want to make a sweatshirt jacket with our panels, this will explain what you need to know to make one! They are super fun to make and can be done quickly!
Thanks so much for coming along with us on this journey.
Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
