Finally Finished Tulip Patch

Once I got this quilt back here to Poland, I decided that I wanted it a bit bigger. Yes, this one.

I decided to just add more borders until it looked like this. Actually it was just one border. :)

I thought that this last border incorporated a lot of the colors from the center of the quilt. It seemed perfect to me, and it made the quilt truly long enough for a bed.

and here from the opposite direction -

As I was working on this right when going through jet lag, I was pushing my decision making skills as making decisions is tiring, believe it or not!

Here you can see the close up of the border fabric. I used this also in my Quilter’s Cottage top.

I used that same floral for the trees on either side of the house.

I’m so glad to have finally made final that decision and I also prepared a backing. I’ve not managed to go downstairs to the long arm room yet, but once I do, I’ll probably want to stay a while! We’ll see. I got some advice from some Juki dealers near our house so I am going to try something so that maybe I can use it back on regulated mode.

Anyway…

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
