Every year we ask ourselves, “What do we want to do for Black Friday?”

Well, this year we decided we definitely need a bit of a rest, so we’re not opening to the public on Friday. But we are letting us all work our fingers on our screens and keyboards to get amazing deals!

2. $20 for Pre-selected 10” squares and 2.5” Strips. This is BELOW WHOLESALE pricing for this Black Friday Event! These 10” squares (aka, Layer Cakes if they were MODA brand) and Jelly Rolls for the 2.5” strips, if they were MODA) and strips are beautiful, and we are very, very pleased to be able to offer these beauties to you at this amazing price! We will take the sale down on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., to give our minds peace, while we sell things in the store, so we don’t oversell. But, I’ll put everything back up as quickly as we can on Saturday after 3 p.m.

3. Absolutely stunning 108 to 112” Riley Blake Expressions Hand dyed BATIK Backings in precut pieces will be available.

We were able to get 16 different colors of Riley Blake wide batik backings for this offer! We are cutting much of it up to make for super beautifully, affordable backings for you. If you’d rather use it for piecing, that’s fine. We don’t care, either way.

Two yard precuts will be only $26. Yes, that’s just $13/yd for beautiful batik yards of 108 to 112” wide backing.

SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY (aka, Black SATURDAY, for us) IN STORE

  1. Pre-selected 10” squares and 2.5” strips. These will be the same ones that are online, but we will let you walk in and hand pick out the ones you want. We have lots. I doubt we’ll sell out, but if you do want to start a store, at less than wholesale pricing, we do have plenty for you to use to get started! (See pictures above plus the one below for some idea of what’s involved.) We do have two stunning Christmas packs in this.. Think Jelly roll rug or placemats!

2. Holiday Fat Quarters. Just $2 each. We have a lot of beautiful ones in selected trays already, that would normally be $3.50 each, but they will be just $2. If you find more in the back room, on the back tables, and can make a case that they are holiday, we’ll let you get them for that price, too!

3. The Batik Backings as outlined above!

Now I expect there to be a line up of people wanting to get the batik backings, as these are rare, and full price is now up to $32/yard. So, $13 a beautiful batik backing yard is worth driving in for!

Three shades of white and 2 shades of black are enough for those of you who love batiks to drive a long ways to come and get!!!!!!!!!!!
