I finished Clue #2 for the Edyta Sitar Mystery 2025!

This week’s mystery quilt clue was very simple! Clue #2 was released back in September by Edyta Sitar.

4 Blocks!

I was struggling with illness this past week, so I appreciated a simple clue. I realize that this is a medallion style quilt, so it is no wonder that these early ones do not require a lot of blocks! As we go, they will take longer to finish up the clues since I’ll be doing a lot more sewing just to get done!

The second clue consists of 4 quarter square triangle blocks.

Here they are.

And here are some pictures of the process of sewing these blocks: I did not make my block like she told us to because she has you cut little triangles and sew those. I wanted to do it a way that I didn’t need to sew on bias edges.

After one or two more clues, I will be able to start putting it together. I have the advantage now of seeing others on Instagram, especially, who have put it together and so I can work from that knowledge. And I appreciate it. I am not one who loves spending my day/s working on something I don’t know if I’m going to like.

If you want to join in on this mystery quilt, the clues are still up on the blog and for this week, which is week 2, they are here. Note, these are not MY clues - and as such, they could disappear at any time. Go here to find them before they disappear from her blog. This is Edyta Sitar’s Mystery Quilt. Last year I did her quilt called Colorado. This one has a name now and she’s calling it Tennessee.

I also was so happy that putting these 4 blocks together didn’t take very long—probably took longer to decide on which colors I wanted to use than make them.

I’m keeping it all together in this project bag.

Most, if not all of the blocks in this project will be 6.5” squares.

Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
