2026 Charity tops #281-290

Here are the next ten tops completed in this year 2026. Once again, I didn’t make all of them completely, but I did something. These are now ready for quilting.

I’m getting very close to my dream goal of getting three hundred NEW tops ready for quilting.

 
 

This is in addition to what Natasha is doing every week. (She’s been doing two a week for me - as I hand her a sort of quilt kit every Sunday she comes. I then put those right into the storage place in the upstairs at church until I need them!) I so appreciate all of the help I’ve gotten from each of you!

I went on a push in the last few weeks and did sew up a lot of tops I had already cut borders for.

I do believe, with the exception of preparing more bindings and probably making up a bunch more “border kits” to go with the tops I have, I probably won’t be actually sewing more charity tops than I’ve finished already. What I mean is, I have a pile that are waiting to be ironed and taken to the church. When those are taken to the building for storage, I will wait until 2027 to make up more charity tops. At that point, every storage area I have will be full.

Tentative Quilt Give-away date for this year is November 14, so that is coming up fast! At that point, I will have more room again the storage room. I can also access quilt tops that are in bins under the quilts. :)
