It’s Mushroom picking season in Poland!

Some years here in Poland are better than others for mushrooms. This year appears to be a fantastic year for them. Or least the month of September and early October has been a bumper year.

I’ve seen things in our yard that normally I do not see.

I thought I’d show you the ones we have had in our yard.

Probably at least one of these is edible. However, I do not know which one is which. Mushroom picking is a national hobby here and many are roaming the woods right now with baskets, trying to find the good ones.

I don’t know what is what.

The following video is done by a Polish guy. He probably did it in Polish and it is auto translated into English. Enjoy. The person did a good job - and this is really what we see in the woods behind us. People walk around with baskets.

I am American enough to not trust myself, but so many people here do it!
