More on the mushroom situation in our yard

We have had more mushrooms in our yard than I ever remember.

Now, it is possible (very) that my life was so busy before that I didn’t have time to run around the yard and look for them.

But specifically this year my husband pointed out those beautiful red ones (which are poisonous). This year we have quite a few of them.

I took pictures of them a few days ago after my husband showed them to me. I thought they were unusually beautiful!

Let me share.

My husband had mentioned that there were a few more. I had posted on Facebook that top picture and a commenter had said that where there is one, there should be more!

Today I went to close the gate and walked right past that area where these mushrooms are and I found a BUNCH more popping up out of the group.

Now, I’m not a great videographer, but I guess a person has to learn somewhere, right?

I made this short video- which shows you some of the mushrooms in our front yard.

 
 

I know I’m showing you again about mushrooms - but this year apparently here in Poland we have a LOT.

Maybe I’ll figure out how to make more videos. I was actually pleased with how well the video’s sound came out as I didn’t use a special microphone. I didn’t think it would be as nice as it was.

One question for you - DO YOU pick mushrooms? If so - how did you learn?
