Quilted Hearts - yes, again! Finally!

It’s past time to get the next twenty hearts shown to you and where I put them.

I know it’s been a long while since I had some hearts finished. But I wanted to get some hearts out this fall, so I figured I had to stop and just do them!

This fall hasn’t been super easy, but things are coming along and I’m gradually beginning to feel less overwhelmed about a lot of things.

But once again, I do love these hearts!

Here they are! I tried to focus on fall looking prints/ribbons, etc.

I did use a lot of misc. pieces that I had leftover from various things. These are often in lieu of making more crumb blocks/quilts. I may make more of those, but honestly, I really love how these hearts look, and had missed not making some in the last year.

 

I put most of these near the road in the woods - or at least hanging on trees - but here are my pics of where I put them I had tried to go and put these out on Sunday afternoon, but it felt like everyone and their brother was out walking their dogs right then, so I just came on home and decided a different day/time woudl better. I don’t really like to be seen doing this. It’s supposed to be anonymous so the people can “find” them.

 

For some reason I have 21 different quilts in various places, but only 20 hearts photographed. I’m confused, but I did put those all up a bit ago.

Once again, if you are a person who would like to learn more about these, just go to the website called “I Found a quilted heart” and read about it.

After this particular group of hearts (the fall ones), I will possibly switch over and use “Look! A quilted heart”. But I’m still thinking about that. For people to report it to them, they have to join a Facebook group, and I know a lot of people don’t do that.

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed those hearts! I’ve enjoyed getting some more done - it’s been a while, as I mentioned before. I’ve wanted to get them out - esp. when I think of that one lady who found one while walking her dog and was so touched!!! Let me share that with you in case you’ve forgotten.

Jestem samotną emerytką ,ten drobiazg sprawił mi wiele radości od samego rana.Bardzo ciekawa inicjatywa, brawa dla pomysłodawców.Może takie serduszko mogłoby być biletem do nawiązania z kimś miłej korespondencji? On July 17, 2024, while walking my dog ​​in the park, I found this beautiful heart. I'm a single retiree, and this little thing brought me so much joy this morning. A very interesting initiative, kudos to the creators. Perhaps such a heart could be a ticket to engaging in a pleasant correspondence with someone? And you know what? Her note has left me wanting to make more. It is exciting for me to think that some people really enjoy finding these - and that definitely makes me want to keep putting them out there!
