Happy Labor Day!

I trust all of you have a great “day off” from your regular activities and have time to relax and spend time with family or your sewing machine or both!

Here in Poland we don’t have such a holiday. It feels like we have so many more holidays than you in the USA so it feels strange to have one for the USA when we don’t have the same. In fact, our next holiday here in Poland is probably November 1.

Labor Day is a holiday that the USA has had since 1894—so quite a while ago now it became a holiday.
