2026 Charity Quilt Tops - #251-260

Oh my, yes. It’s a lot this year. Here are the next ten tops that are on the piles to get finished as charity quilts. I’m thinking I could easily have this be over 300, but at this point, I’m grateful to see this many finished!

I’ve learned if I can manage to use my time better, I can get more done instead of lazing my days away! :) LOL

Actually I do get frustrated with myself. But then I try to have grace and allow myself to not be “on” all day every day. Right?

I really need to remember to give myself some time off.

 
 

I’ve shared many of these as individual blog posts as I’ve been working on a different project lately.

Do I particularly like them? Some of them, not so much. I’m not enthralled with them, but they are finished as tops now and I can move them out of a misc. pile and get them on to their next step of this journey to becoming a quilt and be able to help out someone.

And some of them did turn out really cute! I really like the Sunbonnet Sue quilt top, especially - and the “T” does look cool.

So there’s that.

In this group are also a few tops Lisa and I finished up while we had our two sewing days at my house.

 
 

These are all already gone to the church building to be stored OR on the shelf in the long arm room in my basement, waiting for their chance to become a quilt.

Oh, and we had a request for some charity quilts in the country where my husband is teaching now - it’s a “stan” country. I put four in a suitcase for him to take with him! I told my husband that I believe this will be the farthest away any quilts have gone, I believe. I know we’ve sent them to Ukraine and obviously here in Poland. Maybe some have gone to other places, but I don’t really remember. This time, however, it is over there by China.

So that’s cool! Thank you, anyone who has helped us in this endeavor!
