We've Started a Qults Of Valor (QOV) Club in Dade City!

Are you local to Dade City and/or Zephyrhills and want to get involved with Quilts of Valor?

We’ve started a QOV Club! We have become an official QUILTS of Valor store as well!

The participants meet at Quilted Twins Sewin’ Shop on the third Monday of every month from 9 am to 3:30 pm and are sewing up a storm.

How is Quilted Twins helping out?

Well, normally we charge a fee for using our sewing room for the electricity and acess to all those dies, etc. Well, we are sponsoring the sewing room for those times - so come on in and sew! You can use our electricity and iron and scissors, for no charge.

We will be preparing Quilts of Valor for the people who are nominated in our area - Dade City and Zephyrhills, FL, specifically.

We think this may help Tammy and other area QOV groups not get so far behind as we know they are.

Maybe we can handle the ones right around here!

You can see our ladies have been busy.

We love and appreciate our veterans and we loved being able to support them in this way.

We are excited to be able to help out our area veterans and see if we can help them understand how much they are appreciated by the rest of us!

If you are interesting in donating funds to help this group buy backings, you can donate in cash or check and we are allowed to keep it locally.

If you pay with card - either credit or debit, it has to be turned into the main headquarters where they may eventually give it back to the local group but it’s a long process. I know many of you would love to help but maybe don’t have time to sew. Or maybe you have time to sew but no money for supplies. Just give Nancy a call and see if they can use your help as a sewist!

So, once again, if you are local and maybe want to just help provide a backing for one of these wonderful tops the ladies are making, just let the ladies know as you check out, or call Nancy Charles and talk with her about it, whose phone number is given above. You can figure it out together.

This is a whole new adventure that we are trying to facilitate - not necessarily “doing it ourselves”, but providing and helping it happen right there in Dade City!
