Some of My Favorite You Tube channels
I know I’ve written about this before - but I’ve found some more You Tube channels that I enjoy nowadays.
So let me share with you some of the ones you may not know about it..
I am sure I need to mention what I think of as the “Big Three, no, Big Four”.
That’s MSQC, Jordan Fabrics, Just Get it Done and Fat Quarter Shop. These may be the largest quilting You Tube channels. You can look each of these up, but you’ve probably already heard of them.
But I’ve found more. Let me share with you some that I’ve enjoyed lately. I am finding that many I’ve found are smaller channels and just interesting to me. These are not the “ten minute only” channels, so take it or leave it, however you wish.
I won’t put too many here as that would be overwhelming. These may not be the most polished or biggest channels. Some are. These are ones I’ve found the most interesting.
The first two - From Small Things and the Everyday Sewist
These two are long arm quilters - Tammie Earnest Quilting and Stitched by Susan
I also enjoy Coriander Quilts and Sew the Distance
I then have watched Pin Cut Sew and Lori Holt
The last two I’m going to share may be the first two I discovered after the big four mentioned first. I’m sure I’ve mentioned them before, but here they are again
the Quilted Forest and Merry Mabel Market
There are more than just these, but if you aren’t aware of these, let me be the first to let you know about them!
I’ve found a lot of value in these channels - lots of inspiration. I won’t link them, but here are more - Shabby Fabrics, The Opinionated Quilter, Catbird Quilts, Kara Sommer, the Sewing Channel, Jessica Dayon - Quilting and More, a Quilting Life, Sew Yeah, Eric Arndt, Sunbeam Fabric Art and Lessons Learnt. Some of these are trying to sell you something, while others are having free sew alongs or just interesting videos. I usually don’t just sit and watch videos - but rather, have it on while I’m doing something else. As a result, I do prefer a longer video.
This is just a start. There are many more, but these are the ones I’ve been watching more lately. Others will come, I’m sure. I’m not against watching someone who is just starting. Some of them are very interesting! I find that I am not enjoying the ones put out by magazines quite as much - maybe they just seem like a magazine - and less personal. Anyway, they can be very informative as well, however.
Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!
Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
