Some of the unusual quilting items I’ve seen since coming back
I’ve written this post before we left for Daytona. By the time I get back, my list may have changed or added to immensely.
However, for now, this is what it is.
There have been some different things that I’d not seen before coming back this last time.
One of the most interesting ones, besides our own VERY long ruler (36” long)
is a lighted square ruler. I know that as I get older, when it comes to sewing and quilting, the more light, the better!
The last time I was here we had a meeting with Carla Klop about her book called Panel Play.
I thoroughly enjoyed hearing her but I was getting ready to leave for the airport so I didn’t really have time to look at the book as we had to leave. This time I got to leaf through a book - and it is really nice! Seriously nice!
The next thing I’m enjoying is our wonderful selection of flannels. While we do have this in Poland, we have nothing like these fun designs! Since it is often cold in Poland, the availability and practicality of these fabrics is fantastic for us over there. They make great baby quilts/receiving blankets, and other similar things.
