Things I do at the store (sometimes)
I’ve been making some samples and writing up some patterns here at the house when I’m not doing other things.
But that’s not all.
There are plenty of other things I’ve been doing.
Something I did today was take a bunch of empty cardboard bolts to the dumpster.
Yes - this many. Rachael has a “chop shop” where we cut yardage into small pieces. This results in a lot of empty bolts and those bolts have to go to the dumpster.
I put some patterns into the front of quilt kits (after cutting them).
I cut some one yard pieces.
I discussed what to take to a SHOW!
I located a couple of quilts we need to take along with the accompanying kits.
I put away fabric that had been featured on the Ken and Rachael Show where they showcase new fabric going into the store.
I cut some fat quarters.
So, everyone who thinks that because the store is only ‘open’ 3 days a week, that the other days we’re eating popcorn while watching tv, well, it’s simply not true.
Other things happen - from early morning til late afternoon, at a minimum.
So there’s that. Running a retail store is tough work!
And now you maybe know a tiny bit more than you did before!
Thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!
Have a great day wherever you are reading this.
Be sure to check out what my sis has for you in the store here!
