I Heard from Another Lady from UKRAINE - another Thank you!!!

I just have to take the time to share with you all the note I got the other day from a lady in Ukraine.

She had received a package from us (originally from you all) and I think it is vital to share with you all.

We took the last of our quilts to Ukraine in 2022 but gave them to people there to pass out. Our part was finished by the time the quilts made it across the border. At least that is how we look at it.

But obviously it’s been a while since I have hard from anyone regarding quilts, as to be expected, so I was surprised when a note came into my Viber account, which is the Messaging app that they mostly use.

Let me share it with you.

“Hello Becky. My name is Helen. I am from Ukraine. I am a member of the Baptist church in Korostyshiv. Oleksiy Abramtsov is our pastor. I gave birth to a girl on April, 7 this year. And I received your package with baby things and a letter from you. It helped to me a lot. I wanted to thank you for a long time, but I have five children, so it's a lot of trouble, and my husband is a military man, he currently protects our country. So I just didn't have a time. Thank you very much”

Then she included a couple of photos of the quilt with children. If this one is your quilt that you made, be assured it is being used and appreciated! :)

Thank you again for all that you did and continue to do to help those who are in need.

I just wanted to share this bit of encouragement in these days. Sometimes we get bad news or have discouraging things happen and then someone sends a sweet note.
