A week of "In Progress Projects" - #2 is similar to Classico but on point

I have all the pieces actually constructed for this top. However, I do have the side settings to cut and a few more of the cornerstones.

The design is here. So far I’ve not named it yet.

 
 

For this quilt I need:

  • 9 patches with black in the background

  • 9 patches with white in the background

  • rail fence sashing pieces

  • cornerstones

  • side setting and corner setting triangles

I’ve done the heavy work. I’m just kind of dreading putting this one together. It’s going to be a beast.

Here are all the pieces I already have for this top. Yes, this is a queen size quilt. Putting a queen size quilt together on point with sashings and cornerstones is an all day project!

 
 

I will love this one when I get it finished - I just have to take the plunge, cut the side setting triangles and corner setting triangles and do it.
