A Lot more Donated Charity Tops arrived!
While we were in the states, we (I) had packed up several boxes and sent them to ourselves. The first four of the boxes arrived the other day.
In the boxes, I had put a whole box full of donated charity tops, spread throughout the boxes. These were tops that somehow Rachael had there at Quilted Twins. She didn’t remember how they got there. :)
Here’s the pile of tops we received from some of you. I do not know who the donor is or if it is a whole group of you - and I’m sorry about that. But if it is you - Thank you!
Let me show you all the tops we received. I think it is so fun to see what they are. Now I did not take the time to press all of these. I also have not made them ‘to size’ if they need something added to make them my minimum size of 60”x80” which is a European single.
These will be finished and given out locally in Poland to probably either Polish people or Ukrainians - whoever needs them. I am so thrilled to have so much help in making tops. It provides me so much variety in the quilts we are able to give away and I am so grateful and happy!
I thought it would be fun for you all to see the beauty as well.
So here goes. Sorry for any wrinkles. They will all go away before the quilts are finished and given out. :)
Note - I do not normally fix quilt tops that are donated, but the third top down - I will probably fix the one HST that is turned as it is such a wonderful top. It probably can be done in 15 min or less.
Thank you once again - you all are amazing!!!
And thanks so much for coming along with me on this journey!
Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
Oh - and I fixed that top. it didn’t take long.
