2026 Charity quilts #11-20

The next ten charity quilts are finished. These were ones I quilted back in February, but I just recently bound, washed and photographed them.

You will see quite a few repeats in all these quilts as that is just how it works. Later in the finished charity quilts we will probably see more variety, but for now, the farm and Mickey and strips ones might be doubled up in each group of 10.

The Mickey Mouse quilts were a skinny panel and I just chose to use some large color block pieces - so the quilt, while simple, does make a statement!

The farm fabric I just treated like a wide panel - and just added borders to the top and bottom. I ended up buying a WHOLE bolt of 50 meters of that fabric so that should be maybe 30-40 of these quilts. I started cutting them 59” wide and then just adding the top and bottom borders.

Let’s see - of all these quilts, I nly made the Mickey and the various colors strips quilt top. The rest were made by various of you all and Ewa and her mom here in Poland. Thank you so much!

Here they are in the van waiting to head to the church. There are 20 quilts here, waiting for the next 10 since I did take 30 all at once.

And once again, once the men put the quilts in the room, it looked like this. I did arrange them so the folded edges were out once they left the room. :) This is not just 20 quilts, but the whole first 30.

I am so excited about having space in that room - you all just have no idea.

And once again, thank you so much for all your encouragement in this endeavor.

Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
