Old Blocks top - 4 plus the applique
Here are the next 5 blocks I recently found while cleaning out a room I needed to do in order to have room for company!
I have no idea what to call this - except that it is a charity top.
The middle applique piece was a slightly different size so I added a couple of coping strips - one to each side, and then trimmed down to 12.5” which is pretty much what the other two blocks here.
The colors I chose for the big pieces as the alternate blocks were just pulled from stash. I tried to coordinate with the colors from the blocks I already had.
The plan is this -
And the final top looks like this - It’s not very exciting but maybe a person who likes browns will like it. The applique in the middle is really sweet.
I folded it nicely and put it in my pile to go to the long arm room for charity. The final top ended up about 59”x82-ish”.
Thank you, if you are the one who gave me the blocks. I really don’t remember where I got them - I just know I didn’t make them.
Thank you for coming along with me on this journey.
Have a great day wherever you are reading this!
