We're Heading to the States again for a quick visit

We have a couple of missions conferences to participate in, so this visit won’t be so very long. We will be in Arizona, Georgia and Florida during this quick trip.

Yes, I’m tired just thinking about it. But it will come and go before we even realize what happened.

When you are a kid, people tell you time goes faster when you get older, but I doubt I believed it. I’m sure I didn’t. But I surely do now.

I hope to be able to see Fran, remember her? She’s my ever faithful top maker from Arizona, who has paired up with a 90-something year old friend to make tops for us!!! I mean, together they are a team! Fran is in her 80s.

Whenever I see a box of things from Fran, I am reminded and so grateful for all of our faithful helpers who have made this whole quilt ministry a thing. Through the years so many of you have participated, encouraged, given, and given some more - from cash for batting to tops and even when we had our quilt drive for Ukraine - finished quilts and shipping money!

Honestly—you all have been wonderful for my years now to help me make this (giving away quilts to local people here in Poland) happen.

This was in 2022 when we packaged up a couple thousand quilts with a pillow, pillowcase, and microfiber blanket to make a ‘komplet’ or “set” of sorts. This made the quilt feel even more special than it was. I did see that many people actually separated out the quilt and microfiber blanket and two children/people were able to use the quilt/blanket.

I hope if I see you and you know me, that you will say something. It is easier for one person to know us than for us to know everyone we meet as we travel. So, don’t be afraid to say something. I don’t bite. Promise.

We’ll get to spend some time in our vehicle as well….so pray for our safety as we get around during this brief stay.

It’s kind of complicated, but this time we will have to spend the night in NYC and make our way to Florida tomorrow. It’s all because of my residency permit. I don’t want to explain - but it is what it is.

Thank you so much for coming along with me on this journey!

Maybe I’ll see you soon!
